A WOW Brunch

WOW’S CHIA SEED DRINKS

Yesterday I had the pleasure of joining a wonderful group of ladies for the most delightful completely dairy + gluten free Saturday morning brunch with WOW who are the creators of these incredibly tasty chia seed drinks, and cold pressed, may I add!

WOW’s drinks are something special amongst your typical range of cold pressed drinks, because of the added benefits of chia, their key ingredient! Chia seeds are great because they can be consumed in various ways, and they had a tonne of benefits. To name just a few, chia seeds are high in antioxidants improving your immune system and important for cell protection, they are also high in fibre, and essential fatty acids.

The brunch WOW hosted was held at Farmstand on Drury Lane of Central London. The food was absolutely heavenly, a presentation completely Instagram worthy (and we proved that – cameras were certainly at the ready as you can see!). We also had a lovely insightful talk on ‘Mindful Eating’ by Nutrition Coach, Ana from Fat Chick In The Big Smoke. It really made me think just how healthy are those ‘healthy’ meals and drinks i’m picking up? What do you look out for when you’re trying to follow a healthy lifestyle..?

You can buy WOW’s chia seed drinks in Waitrose, Sainsburys + in Co-Op ..and more distributors to come as they’re branching out. Their current drink combo’s are: watermelon + pomegranate; orange, mango + carrot; blueberry, pear and lemon; and apple, spinach + kiwi. I honestly cannot pick a favourite.. you’ll have to try them all!

Speak soon! K.
