A WEEKEND IN OXFORD
Jumper H&M // Jeans New Look // Coat Zara // Bag Mango // Boots Zara
Played around with a mix of old and new pieces today. The bag was bought in a recent Mango sale, it’ll definitely be put to a lot of us as it’s functional for all sorts of events! I’ll be taking it tonight for dinner and transforming it into a clutch by releasing the strap 😉 it’s a real soft touch leather and I love the way the top flap automatically locks once I release it.
The jumper has actually been pinned in several places. It’s length actually runs about 10cm lower, but I pinned parts of it back so that the jumper looked more ‘fitted’. I stopped wearing this piece for a while as it looked so unflattering! But at the last minute I was so desperate to find a jumper decent enough for this weird weather (we’ve had that snowy-rain falling from the sky all day, so excuse my hair, please!) that I just though.. how would it look if I pinned that? Happy with the outcome! I’ve also teamed the jumper with my cream leather Zara boots. Love how this outfit forms a mix of classic on the outside, yet casual comfort lives on the inside.
I’m actually standing outside an Oxford University college entrance here, not sure of which one, but it’s reminded me that at some point we should go for a tour of Christ Church college (where Harry Potter was filmed – at least, I know the main hall in the movie is there..).
Hope you’re all having a pleasant weekend, perhaps with better whether than me ..and that you’re enjoying the posts. More to come! I’m going to head to a seafood restaurant with some friends now.. star-ving! Ciao!
